Stephen Wales
I qualified from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic with a B.Sc. chiropractic in 1992. After graduation, having worked for a chiropractic clinic in Norwich for 4 years, I established the North Walsham Chiropractic Clinic in 1996. Since then the clinic has treated patients from the whole of Norfolk, particularly the areas of North Walsham, Stalham, Cromer, Sheringham, Aylsham, Wroxham, Great Yarmouth, Holt and Norwich.
I made up my mind to become a chiropractor when I was still at primary school. My mother had been suffering with severe chronic lower back pain. She was then recommended to see a chiropractor, and over a period of time, chiropractic treatment resolved her symptoms. Having seen the pain and disability that my mother suffered, and the relief she obtained from chiropractic treatment, I decided that I wanted to be able to try and help people in the same way.

I graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic with a distinction in MChiro Masters degree.
After 4 years in Wales I decided to move to a sunnier part of the country, to be able to cultivate my passions for health, sports and outdoor activities. Norfolk and its beautiful nature seemed the perfect place for me, in addition to its slower pace of life which reminds me of my Italian hometown.
I have always been into sports and exercise since I was little, which is why I started to see a Chiropractor from a young age in Italy. Having experienced the benefits of Chiropractic first hand, I fell in love with the profession and decided to come and study in the UK.
My view of Chiropractic as a way to optimize wellbeing and improve quality of life by looking at human beings as a whole, ties in with the idea that Health is a balance between good nutrition, movement, mental wellness and a functional body.
I use a range of different techniques, Diversified, Activator, Pelvic Blocking, Drops, and ABC (Advanced Biostructural Correction) because I believe that every patient needs the best care that is tailored to their specific needs. Further to this, I take a particular interest in the vast array of benefits chiropractic care can offer in paediatric, child and pregnant patients.
